Desert poetry

By: Amazing Logan

Waking up to three feet of snow
At exactly nine we had to go
Down through Utah in our Santa Fe
After 5 hours, Arches, hip hip hooray
With fluffy pants and a grumpy stance
In the distance there are desert plants
Once we reached Delicate Arch
The group was really parched
The walk was worth it, rewarded with a view
The red rock arch, the sky of blue

From Splendid Eliza

Spectacular view
Partition Arch lets you see
Arches National Park
Woo!

The leaves on one tree
Red, Orange, Yellow and Green
sometimes all in one

Canyon
Grand, Magnificent
Changing, Crumbling, Growing
Makes me feel tiny

Juniper
SpikeyFlakey
Growing, Blooming, Fruiting
Strong survivor, standing tall
Ancient

FROM SPECTACULAR JONTY

TREES ARE ALL AROUND
SEEDS SCATTERED BY A YOUNG BOY
REDGREEN AND YELLOW

SKY
BLUE CLEAR
FLYING ZOOMING GLYDING
JET-STREAMS GOING SO FAST
RAVEN

I LIKED MY SALAD
UNDER THE JUNIPER TREE
IT WAS WINDY BRO
