Today we went to CenturyLink Field stadium to watch a soccer game The L.A Galaxy were against Seattle's team the Seattle Sounders. I went with mum and Nathan because it was Nathan's birthday present.

Nathan, me and Mum.

We started our journey on a 42 minute journey passing and stopping at 25 bus stations.
Hey, hold this and we will take your photo! Thanks movin925.com

Once the bus ride had finished we went into the supporters section where we listened to sound wave ( the Seattle Sounders theme band. ) They were cool because the sung pop songs with trumpets and basic percussion.  (mum tried to take a video, but it wasn't very good, but we easily found one on YouTube for you to enjoy.)

they were so fun to watch!

After the supporters section we walked in a big clump to the stadium where we got water and free clear, see through bags. After getting a body scan we went into the stadium with no clue where we are supposed to be.

After a few minutes of getting lost; we found our way into the stadium, got some food, got face painted and got our hair coloured. We had seats in the supporters section and we settled down for the game.
Sea of green and sky of blue.......

Since we were in the supporters zone there was a lot of singing and screaming. It was all happy until the 25th minute when Gyasi Zardes headed the ball into the net. The Sounders had a lot of chances but they were all put wide of the far left post. Everyone thought hope was lost but then a stunning cross came from Román Torres to Lamar Neagle who slotted in into the bottom right corner.

Me at the end of the game, the score is there in the background somewhere.

The game highlights (and all the chanting you hear, was what we did!)

From Jane: Sorry there are not more photos from the game...the supporter zone was a serious, chanting, NO PHONE zone. We worked hard for the game. Here are some clips from YouTube again, to give you an idea of the chanting we did. And yes, each section had it's own cheer leader. "Hands up everybody! Scarves up everybody! And I mean everybody, ON YOUR FEET!"
